About register

The Register of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) Producers is a State Information System.

The Register of Battery or Accumulator (BA) Producers is a part of State Information System – EEE.

The State information system is established in order to ensure the circulation of necessary information for the electrical and electronic waste and used batteries and accumulator management control.

According to the Regulations issued by the Cabinet of Ministers No.331, adopted in June 17, 2014 “Electric and electronic equipment and batteries or accumulators producers registration order and payment for data maintenance”, the Register of EEE Producers is administered by the Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Association (LETERA). The holder of the EEE producers register is the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.

Amount of payment for the Register of EEE Producers data maintenance according to the Cabinet of Ministers No.331 is 42.69 EUR per year.
